Traditional Shape

The Lumen Handpan features a traditional layout, similar to that of an acoustic handpan, making it easy for traditional handpan players to transition to the Lumen Handpan.

The layout features a total of 9 pads, with the central note surrounded by 8 notes that represent the tone fields on a traditional handpan. This allows for a wide range of melodic and harmonic possibilities, along with easy and fluid playing. Each pad is further divided into 9 zones, to give you expressive freedom over harmonics, overtones, and dampening.

19 INCHES IN DIAMETER

Your new handpan instrument is 19” in diameter, and 9 kilograms in weight, making it portable and comfortable when resting on your lap while still sturdy and stable when placed on an instrument stand (we recommend a regular keyboard stand).

SPUN ALUMINIUM AND POWDER COATED

The Lumen Handpan is precision manufactured with spun aluminium and a powder-coated paint finish to provide a smooth and consistent feel.
